The full club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 8.00pm (note November it is 2nd and 3rd due to cup day).

SUBJECT DEFINITIONS

January - Travel

  • An image which depicts moving from one place to another and places and subjects of interest seen during travel.

February - Open

March - Motion

  • An image depicting motion of any moving object.

April - Landscape/Seascape

  • LANDSCAPE- An image featuring natural scenary. Trees, people or buildings may be included but but must not dominate the image.

  • SEASCAPE - An image in which the sea or waves predominate or an image of natural coastal scenery. Boats or other items of marine interest may be included.

May - Curves

  • An Image where a curve or series of curves is evident in the image. The curve can be man-made or appearing naturally.

June - Outdoor Portrait

  • An outdoor image of a person[s] which may range from a head to a full-length study and which may include accessories and backgrounds in character with the subject. Outdoors only with no artificial lighting or flash.

July - Nature

  • An image depicting animals, birds, insects in the wild or in captivity but excluding domesticated animals.

August - PHOTO JOURNALISM and SOCIAL DOCUMENTARY

  • A record of any event which tells a story.

September - Open

October - Architecture

  • An image depicting a building, bridge or other construction, new or old or part thereof. Falling down country shacks etc. are excluded.

 

The Skills Development Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.45pm.
